The island has beautiful beaches. The ones closest to the settlement are Liendou, Kambos and Elena Beach. At a half-hour distance is Platis Gialos (a sandy beach that features ducks!). South of the port lies Katsadia Bay while other beaches are those of Papandria, Chochlacoura, Tourkomnima, Xirokambos, Kamares and Monodendri.
Platis Gialos
Beautiful sandy beach reached on foot (appx. 1 hour), motorbike or bus (frequent schedules). You will not only find shade but you will also definitely taste the freshly cooked dishes of KOSTAS TAVERN - the only one on the beach.
Tourkomnina bay
Sandy bay at a 1 hour walk from island's main settlement. Secluded bay that offers shade but no place to eat or drink. However, there is a villa for rent that overlooks the bay. Why not book it for your next holidays?
Panaghia tis Kimisis beach
It's a pebbled beach located south of the island - ideal for walkers it's a 1,5-2 hour walk. Can be reached on foot or motorbike. Very quiet - you will find no shade nor any place to eat or drink nearby.
Liendou Beach
The closest of all beaches - it's at a 10' walk from the main settlement.
It's a rather sandy beach with shade - ideal for families.

Chochlakoura bay
Located at an appx. less than 1 hour walk south of the island's port it is a pebbled beach with no shade and no other facilities (food & drink). Can also be reached on motorbike or municipality bus. Ideal for those who prefer tranquility.
Elena Beach
Beach with no shade but close to the settlement (15' on foot - it is also accessible by motorbike).
Xirokambos beach
Located at an appx. 1 hour walk south of the island's port it is a pebbled beach with no shade and no other facilities (food & drink). Can also be reached on motorbike or municipality bus.
Katsadia Bay
Sandy bay at a 20' walk from island's main settlement. It is one of the island's most prefered beaches as it offers food and drink.
